Launceston has some amazing scenery. The Launceston City Council has published this outstanding aerial footage of Cataract Gorge that was taken using a camera mounted on a drone.

This city was named after the town, borough, and parish of Launceston, in Cornwall, which lies west of the Tamar River. Today, our namesake has a population of apprximately 11,700.
